Polyvinyl Acetate Homopolymer
Polyvinyl acetate emulsions offer the necessary performance property advantages
as a base in variety of adhesive formulations:
adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces as wood, paper, plastic films and metal foils;
high molecular weight in combination with low usable viscosity; high solids

tackifiers, fillers, defoamers, biocides, surfactants and solvents; easy modification of
water and solvent resistance; good machining characteristics due to a high degree
of latex mechanical stability and cleaning properties; dried poly(vinyl acetate)
adhesive films are highly resistant to attack by microorganisms, oxidation and UV
radiation; the polymer is nonflammable, has low degree of toxicity and can be used
in food packaging, offers minimal environmental impact.
